Usage instructions: this is a single use vial. Apply to clean skin before and during microchanneling and microneedling sessions until the vial is empty. Can also be used in conjunction with AnteAGE®️ Hyaluronic Acid Gliding Solution and Steri-Wash© Sterile Saline Fine Mist Spray.

While needling does allow products to penetrate better at all depths, it is advisable to only use ingredients during microneedling that are considered native to the human body, as foreign material introduced during needling can be presented to the immune system as a dangerous molecule, and granulomas can often form around them. The short list of ingredients advisable to use are:

• pure High Molecular Weigh Hyaluronic Acid (AnteAGE®️ Hyaluronic Acid Gliding Solution)

• certain anti-inflammatory concentrated human growth factor products, like this Emage product.

In addition, it is strongly encouraged to avoid anything else other than the above-mentioned molecules for the first 18-24 hours post needling.

This Emage StemFacial ® Microneedling Solution contains mesenchymal stem cell cytokines and growth factors, Aqua (water), glycerin, sodium hyaluronate, palmityol Tetrapeptide-7, Palmitoyl oligopeptide, sh-oligopeptide-1, sh-oligopeptide-2, sh-polypeptide-1, sh-polypeptide-9 and sh-polypeptoide-11. 

Where do the stem cells come from?

The stem cells are sourced only from the bone marrow of young, healthy, pre-screened adult donors. Stem cell cytokines also contain none of the original cell parts themselves, only the beneficial growth factors they produce. Mesenchymal stem cells originating from bone marrow are the most powerful and versatile population in your body, able to transform into myriad cell types to fight injury and inflammation. As they leave the bone marrow and travel throughout the body, these stem cells act as command and control centers, directing the process of healing to minimize overall damage.

Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 - Anti-aging peptide complex used in anti-aging products for its ability to help improve the skin’s visible elasticity.  This peptide is believed to stimulate the regeneration of collagen in the dermis and improve the epidermal barrier.  Synthesizes extra cellular matrix and improves the visible appearance of wrinkles.

Palmitoyl Oligopeptide - (Also known as Matrixyl 3000), an anti-aging peptide that stimulates the synthesis of collagen, elastin, glucosaminoglycans and hyaluronic acid in the deep layers of the skin.  Clinically proven to reduce wrinkle depth by increasing hyaluronic acid and collagen production.

Sh-Oligopeptide-1 is also called Epidermal Growth Factor or EGF.  EGF is a special snowflake when it comes to skincare as the molecule directly stimulates the proliferation of epidermal cells.  It was the first Growth Factor that made its way into cosmetic products and Stanley Cohen was awarded a Noble prize in 1986 for it.  Sh-Oligopeptide-1 has well-established wound healing and skin renewal properties. It might even do more than that. According to a 2012 study on a serum containing barley bioengineered epidermal growth factor, "clinical evaluations showed statistically significant improvement in the appearance of fine lines and rhytids, skin texture, pore size, and various dyschromatic conditions apparent within the first month of use, and continuing improvement trends for the duration of the study" (which was 3 months).

sh-Oligopeptide-2 - (Also known as Insulin-Like Growth Factor 1 (IGF-1)) is claimed to stimulate cell proliferation and wound healing. There is also a study that indicates EGF and IGF1 work in synergy to promote keratinocyte (skin cell) proliferation.

Sh-Polypeptide-1 is a cell signaling protein also called Basic Fibroblast Growth Factor and is twin sister to Acidic Fibroblast Growth Factor.  It stimulates fibroblast cell growth and proliferation.  According to manufacturer info, it also stimulates the synthesis of collagen and other extracellular-matrix (the gooey stuff between cells) components. 

Sh-Polypeptide-9 is a cell signaling protein also called Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor. As its name suggests, its main function is to stimulate the formation of blood vessels. As to what it does in cosmetic products, we found manufacturers info claiming that it plays a role in supplying fibroblast cells with nutrients, in the growth and migration of cells and in wound healing. 

Sh-Polypeptide-11 is a medium-sized cell signaling molecule also called Acidic Fibroblast Growth Factor. aFGF can stimulate the growth and proliferation of fibroblast cells (VIP cells that produce among other things collagen). According to manufacturer info, it also stimulates skin regeneration, wound healing and collagen and elastin synthesis.

Cons:  If you have psoriasis or high skin cancer risk factors, better safe than sorry type, stick to daily SPF + a good retinoid product. This duo is still the golden standard of anti-aging.
