EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 (1.7 oz.)

  • $43.00

A lightweight, oil-free sunscreen for sensitive or acne-prone skin.  This sheer formula shields your complexion from the suns harmful rays while actively improving your skin.  Ingredients such as lactic acid and niacinamide control oil production and alleviate inflammation to calm your acne flare-ups and decrease signs of hyperpigmentation, giving you a more smooth, flawless-looking face.

Important usage tip:  If you are currently a user of CE Ferulicglycolic acid or my "strong acids" kit during the day, I recommend using a sunscreen that does not contain niacinamide (unless you can wait at least 30 minutes before application).  The low pH of these acids will render the niacinamide ineffective and the combination with UV exposure can produce pro-oxidative hydrogen peroxide.  If you want to use this product with CE Ferulic, glycolic acid or any products in my strong acid kit, wait at least 30 minutes before application of this over stronger acids.
