Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38

Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38  — (known as Peptide 38, trade-named Matrixyl™ Synthe’6)

Powerful anti–wrinkle peptide produced from derivatives of the amino acids lysine and methione sulfone (the latter is synthetic), a matrikine-mimetic compound that regulates cell activity, wound repair and collagen tissue remodeling.  Promotes regeneration of skin to make wrinkles and skin smooth and delays the appearance of signs of aging.

Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38 was developed to specifically target 6 skin rebuilding essentials, including 3 specific types of collagen, and was tested with success on the forehead:

Collagen I – The main collagen component of skin.

Collagen III – The type of collagen that is first present in the very early stages of tissue repair.

Collagen IV – The collagen responsible for smoothing skin at a cellular level.

Fibronectin A – A protein that stimulates repair of tissue.

Hyaluronic Acid – Improves skin hydration, elasticity, and moisture.

Laminin-5 – Strengthens and smooths the dermis.

Using 2% of the active for two months daily, women reported a decrease in wrinkles by 31% up to 100%.
