Chrysin
Chrysin, a “flavonoid,” and has skin brightening and conditioning properties; it activates the enzyme uridine diphosphate-glucuronosyltransferase (UGT1A1) that leads to the degradation of bilirubin. This can help with the appearance of dark under eye circles. One of the causes of dark circles under the eyes is the accumulation of hemoglobin, biliverdin, bilirubin and iron in the dermis and epidermis. Chrysin protects epidermal keratinocytes from UVA- and UVB-induced damage. Results showed that chrysin can attenuate apoptosis, reactive oxygen species (ROS) production, and cyclooxygenase 2 (COX-2) expression induced by UVB and UVA. Haloxyl™
Haloxy l™ is made out of a combination of ingredients, but has four main components. N-hydroxysuccinimide – This ingredient is used to help condition and soften the skin (referred to as an “ester”). It is also considered a reagent, which is a substance that is used to trigger a reaction that results in a new substance (like peptides and polymers).
