Tamarindus Indica Seed Gum is a gum obtained from the seeds of the plant tamarind. It is used to improve the skin’s texture and to give the product a more smooth feel. 

Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate is a very stable, oil-soluble Vitamin C ester which has anti-oxidant activity, inhibiting lipid peroxidation. Topical use can mitigate the damaging effects of UV exposure. Studies have shown it to stimulate collagen production as well as clarifying and brightening the skin by inhibiting melanogenesis (the production of pigment) thereby promoting a more even skin tone.  Increases collagen synthesis at least twice as much as ascorbic acid and protects the cells against UV-B better than other esters of Vitamin C.

Tocotrienols (See Vitamin E) — an anti-oxidant with UV absorption and skin-conditioning activity. This is a form of vitamin E, and studies indicate that it might be more potent than tocopherol. It could be incorporated into anti-oxidant and anti-aging products. Naturally occurring in oils derived from rice bran, barley, wheat, oat, and palm; the highest levels are contained in palm oil.
