Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate

Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate is a very stable, oil-soluble Vitamin C ester which has anti-oxidant activity, inhibiting lipid peroxidation. Topical use can mitigate the damaging effects of UV exposure. Studies have shown it to stimulate collagen production as well as clarifying and brightening the skin by inhibiting melanogenesis (the production of pigment) thereby promoting a more even skin tone.  Increases collagen synthesis at least twice as much as ascorbic acid and protects the cells against UV-B better than other esters of Vitamin C.

Tetrapeptide-21

Tetrapeptide-21, also named GEKG (Sequence: Glycine-Glutamic acid-Lysine-Glysine), was derived from extra cellular matrix (ECM) proteins.   Tetrapeptide-21 is a novel bioactive with anti-aging properties based on the skin's own structures for use in skin care formulations.  Tetrapeptide-21 has shown promise as a skin cream ingredient that can stimulate skin growth and repair. When collagen breaks down, it forms specific tetrapeptides that signal to your skin that it was damaged and needs to make new collagen. So by applying Tetrapeptides topically, your skin believes it has lost collagen recently and needs to make more. It activates collagen production and therefore stimulates dermal filling,...

Tocotrienols

Tocotrienols (See Vitamin E) — an anti-oxidant with UV absorption and skin-conditioning activity. This is a form of vitamin E, and studies indicate that it might be more potent than tocopherol. It could be incorporated into anti-oxidant and anti-aging products. Naturally occurring in oils derived from rice bran, barley, wheat, oat, and palm; the highest levels are contained in palm oil.
